Kendall County Fair Jr Talent Contest The Kendall County Fair Board is looking for YOU and your talent for the Kendall County Fair Talent Show! Entry forms must be completed and turned in with a $10. entry fee prior to the event. First place prize is $100 and the winner will represent Kendall County at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs annual convention in Springfield next January. Second place prize is $50. and third place is $25. The Jr Talent Contest will be held during the Kendall County Fair on Sunday, August 1st, 2010 beginning at 1:00pm on the Family Stage. The ENTRY FORM is available here. Official rules are as follows: - Acts may be solo or group performances. Vocalists, instrumentalists, dramatists, dancers... all are welcome!
- Each act must be under 4 minutes. The act willl be disqualified if it runs over 4 minutes. There will also be a "timed" setup period of 3 minutes that must be adhered to.
- If using a taped accompaniment, no like talent is allowed in the recording. For example, if you are singing to a recording, no back-up vocals may exist on the recording.
- Microphones are the only equipment furnished.
- The panel of judges' decisions will be final.
- Each performer must be 14 years old or younger on the day of the Fair contest.
- All performers must have permanent residency in Kendall County, IL.
